Nice quality map. Love that it's laminated. I'm not crazy about the way the edge of the map ends abruptly and continues on the opposite side. Especially since I will be traveling in this "edge zone". I can see I'll be flipping back and forth a lot from front to back! But after traveling abroad, relying only on a GPS that ended up failing, I'm happy to bring this along on our trip to Spain!Product details

Great map. I am very pleased with this map of Spain. It is laminated and made of very sturdy material.
We bought this for an upcoming trip to Spain. IT is excellent with all the detail we need. Love that it has the coating on it and does not tear easily.
In 2009 our GPS was clearly Plan A. We had it all planned out, B&B, Christmas with a wonderful host family, day trips, the whole dream European vacation. But before the departure old Grandpa--that's me--decided we needed Plan B, redundancy as the military and survivalists call it. Supose something goes wrong with all that electronic wizardry? Sure enough, the new GPS conked out and Plan B saved the day. In 2011 the GPS worked great in Spain, unlike Germany, but we still used the Borch maps of Spain and Madrid a good bit--they zoom in and out so well just by refocusing your eyes. I would always have a Borch map with me when travelling overseas. Their construction is indestructable, waterproof, and utterly dense with information per square inch.
This is a high quality substantial map which is excellent to have for planning, and for insertion in the glove compartment of your car. I have several other paper maps which get frayed -- this one will be the standard for us.
